the hotel nearly as much as we loved Florence. The city
is so beautiful that the walk between the sites is often the best
part. We left our car in the car park and didn’t touch it
again until it was time to leave. The hotel was clean, efficient,
and fantastically placed. There was a good restaurant just a few
doors down, and it seemed that all the main attractions were just
a short walk away. We were also lucky enough to get a room with
a good view!

Although my friend and me booked this hotel the
night before we left Rome, from what I have heard from other travellers
we struck gold. When we arrived at the station
it was easy to find. The staff help us find everything we needed,
they even directed us to a good restaurant where we ate the best
steaks we had since we came to Italy. The room was spacious, and
the breakfast buffet was excellent. Florence is small so nowhere
is far away, and the hotel is well positioned, particularly when
you are running late for the train as we where! It was also nice
having such easy access to the Internet, as when you are on a European
trip, there are always a lot of emails to send home. All in all
good value for money, and it has everything you need for a city
break.

We change from our hotel to this one on the advise
of friends we were travelling with. As I need constant access to
the Internet for work, even when on holiday, the free Internet
saved me a fortune. The staff were helpful, and did their
best to help us with problems even when busy. The level of English
was good enough, and the breakfast room ample. The hotel is situated
in a busy junction and the thick windows come in handy at night
to keep out the sound. We both enjoyed the proximity to all the
sites and good restaurants and bars, and when I was in the room
working my wife also enjoyed shopping in the neighbourhood.
